Program Overview
Tigers Elite was founded by Kevin Lux, co-founder of the Atlanta Lacrosse League and a longtime coach with over 15 years of experience in the game.
The idea for Tigers Elite started close to home. As a lacrosse dad with a daughter who wanted to play at a higher level, Coach Lux set out to create a better travel team option, one that balanced fun, competitiveness, and a strong, inclusive culture. His vision was to build a program where players could develop, compete, and truly enjoy the game without the pressure or cost often associated with traditional travel programs.
From the beginning, Tigers Elite has embraced a family-first atmosphere. Other dads quickly joined the coaching ranks, bringing energy, experience, and a shared commitment to creating a positive environment for every player. This family-driven approach has helped foster strong bonds between players, coaches, and families—making Tigers Elite feel less like a club and more like a community.
